Missing Allentown 5 y/o autistic boy Jayliel Vega Batista found dead, autopsied

The search for a lost Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania child with special needs ended in tragedy. NBC 10 reported on Jan.4 that the missing 5-year-old autistic boy Jayliel Vega Batista was found dead in Allentown Canal after he disappeared from a Lehigh Valley New Year's Eve party. The deceased Lehigh Valley child's body will be autopsied on Monday but authorities don't suspect foul play. They believe the autistic boy wandered off, met with an accident or fell into the waters of Allentown Canal. Advocates for special needs children say the death of Jayliel Vega Batista highlights the need for better understanding of kids with autism.  Missing Allentown 5 y/o autistic boy Jayliel Vega Batista found dead, autopsied | Examiner.com
